Policy on Digital Millennium Copyright Act
Welcome to our website. We value and respect the copyrights of others, just as we expect the same respect for our own content. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), copyright owners or their representatives can submit a notice to us for the removal of infringing content. As an internet service provider, we are protected under the DMCA “safe harbor” provisions against copyright violation claims.
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- An authorized signature of the copyright owner or their representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted material that has been infringed.
- Details of the infringing material and sufficient information for us to locate it.
- Contact information of the complaining party, including name, address, email, and phone number.
- A statement confirming the unauthorized use of the material and the accuracy of the notification.
- An acknowledgment that the complaining party is acting on behalf of the copyright owner under penalty of perjury.
Section 512(f) of Title 17 USC outlines penalties for misrepresentation in infringement notifications. To send a takedown notice, please use our Contact page and send it via email for a quicker response.
Please be aware that we may disclose the identity of the parties involved in a copyright infringement claim. By submitting a claim, you consent to this disclosure.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you believe material was taken down wrongly due to a copyright claim, you can submit a counter notification to have the content restored. The notification must be in writing and include:
- Your signature.
- Description of the removed material and its original location.
- A statement that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and consent to jurisdiction for legal matters.
Send your counter notice through our Contact page, preferably via email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy against repeat copyright infringement. We keep records of DMCA notices and take action against repeat offenders by terminating their accounts.
Modifications
